2000 :
SIPA Tunisie is a company that was founded in Bizerte, Tunisia, by Mr. Akram Ben Miled, engineer in the food industry; le success of its first product, a bread-making improver, has been surprising.
2001 :
After its first success, the Company launched a new range of products with plenty of innovations such as, for example, Viennese pastries and concentrated premixes for special breads.
2002 :
- Effective launch of the export activity.
- Setting up of a R & D department with agreements with two universities, and of a training Centre specialized in the food-processing industry.
2003 :
- Launching of a new range of bread-making improver with 300g paniplus and 500g. panimax
- Second presidential award from the President of the Tunisian Republic, Mr. Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, for young firms and private enterprises.
2004 :
- Setting up of the new factory at Z.I. Alia, 40 kms away from Tunis.
- Participation in the national programme of levelling off for an Iso 9002 and HACCP certification.
- Launching on the market of the Pani100 improver, the first 100g improver to be found on the North African market.
- Launching of the pastry ingredients unit with a wide range of more than 15 products.
